UK Trade Minister says EU is pushing Britian to no-deal Brexit

Russia’s Defence Ministry confirmed on Saturday that it had proposed cooperating with the US on Syrian refugees and de-mining in a letter sent to the top US general in July.

The ministry said in a statement that the proposals on refugees concerned a refugee camp in Rukban. In the letter, Valery Gerasimov, chief of the Russian military’s General Staff, said Moscow was ready to discuss with Damascus safety guarantees for refugees stranded at Rukban, as well as creating conditions for their return home.

People walk for AO victims, disabled people

A charity walk to call for support for Agent Orange/dioxin victims and disabled people took place in Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday.

More than 5,000 people joined the walk themed For victims of Agent Orange/dioxin and the needy people with disabilities. The program aims to honor the great efforts of families of victims of Agent Orange/dioxin and people with disabilities in struggling against their difficult circumstances, pay gratitude to donors, and further mobilize resources for needy people.

I am pleased to join the walk for my physical health and in support of Agent Orange/dioxin victims. I hope that the community will join efforts to help people with disabilities and Agent Orange/dioxin victims for good health and confidence to thrive., said Nguyen Thi Hoa, a participant.

Iran reveals terms of its withdrawals from Syria

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi said Saturday that Iran might decrease its military presence in Syria and even leave altogether after the situation in Syria normalizes and the fight against terrorism there brings significant results.

Qassemi pointed out that Tehran will maintain its presence in Syria as long as Damascus wants it to. The diplomat noted that fighting terrorism was one of the Iranian forces’ tasks in Syria, apart from granting support to the Syrian government.

In July, Iranian Supreme Leader’s Top Adviser for International Affairs Ali Akbar Velayati said Tehran would be present in Syria and Iraq at the request of these countries’ legitimate governments and would not leave despite the threats voiced by the US.

Vietnam is to launch i-Work job finding app

iWork company is to launch a job finding app called iWORK next month.

This will apply artificial intelligence to support job seeking and recruitment online. It is expected to save half of business recruitment cost and facilitate employer-candidate matching and connectivity.

Thanh Hoa province urged to promote inner strength

Party Central Committee’s Organizational Commission Chief Pham Minh Chinh has paid a working visit to Thanh Hoa province.

In his meeting with the provincial leaders, Mr Chinh called for successful implementation of Party resolutions and praised positive development locally in social economy, national defense and culture. We need to build up from our internal strength, especially human, natural, traditional history and cultural identities. The province should have its own policy to promote these strengths., said Mr. Chinh.

HCMC, Buenos Aires promote bilateral friendship cooperation

Ho Chi Minh City People’s Council Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Quyet Tam has paid a working visit to Buenos Aires.

Seaside tourism real estate: a promising sector to investors

Seaside tourism real estate is becoming one of the most promising sectors and drawing huge attention from prominent investors and developers.

Deputy Head of Real Estate Market and Housing Management Agency under the Ministry of Construction Nguyen Manh Khoi made the remarks at “Vietnam Seaside Tourism Real Estate Forum 2018” held by the TheLEADER magazine on Saturday in Hanoi. Khoi said that in addition to 28 coastal cities and provinces in Vietnam, this sector can expand to other areas as well, creating opportunities for other sectors to grow, including those of labor, finance, and tourism. The forum discusses 3 major topic groups, including: The taking off of Vietnam’s tourism and impacts on economic development and tourism real estate market and The curent state of Vietnam’s seaside tourism real estate.
