Komet Begins a 3000-meter Exploration Campaign on Dabia South in Mali.

QUÉBEC CITY, March 07, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Komet Resources Inc. (“Komet” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the beginning of a RC (Reverse Circulation) drilling campaign on its Dabia South permit located in the Kéniébia region of Mali. The main target will be the mineralized zone of Kabaya. Komet’s staff is already on site, and preliminary work started on March 1st. The first drill holes are starting today, and the completion of the 3000 m is planned for the end of March depending on field conditions. Immediately following the end of the drilling campaign, the geology team will remain on site to undertake geological mapping of the anomalous areas of the soil geochemistry survey.

This campaign aims to achieve the following 3 main objectives:

1. Complete the 50x25m mesh of the southwestern section of Kabaya, these holes will be used to increase the quality of the mineralized zone of this sector.

2. Complete the 100x50m mesh in the southern extension of the two sections of Kabaya and in the northern part of the southwestern section. These holes will be used to increase or circumscribe the mineralized zone 150m north and south of Kabaya.

3. Test a soil geochemical anomaly on one of the priority gold mineralization assessment areas by conducting a short RC survey line.

Based on these results, an extended metallurgical gold recovery test (Extended Gravity Recoverable Gold / EGRG) is planned and a core drilling campaign will be defined. All of these steps are part of the program that establishes the exploration steps necessary to consider gold extraction in the Kabaya Zone and define other mineralized clusters on the permit.

Calgary, Canada, March 06, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — NovAtel, part of Hexagon’s Positioning Intelligence Division, has integrated its high-precision positioning engine and correction services with the world’s first automotive-grade multi-frequency GNSS chipsets, the STMicroelectronics Teseo APP (Automotive Precise Positioning) and Teseo V. The integration demonstrates future possibilities with regard to vehicle localization solutions. STMicroelectronics’s Teseo APP and Teseo V provide multi-frequency GNSS data for PPP (Precise Point Positioning) and RTK (Real Time Kinematic) for accurate positioning capabilities. The Teseo APP features built-in integrity checking for use in safety-critical systems, whereas Teseo V is used for non-safety-critical precise positioning applications. Striving for Gold – Laying the Groundwork for the Olympic Healthcare Interoperability Initiative

Las Vegas, Nevada., March 06, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The spirit of health and well-being is core to the founding principles of the Olympic Games and heralds the tenets of sustainable social development within each host and participating country. With the ambitious goal of integrating advanced digital health information sharing into health services provided before, during, and after the Games, the Olympic Healthcare Interoperability (OHI) Initiative & OHI Foundation have been formed to aggressively pursue this vision.

OHI, a digital health industry initiative with charter sponsorship from not-for-profit organizations HIMSS and SNOMED International, was created to advance the seamless exchange and use of health information globally through the Olympic Games. Consider the case of a Jamaican athlete collapsing on the track, showing symptoms of cardiac stress.  Medical personnel at the stadium use an electronic medical record (EMR) system to query the athlete’s electronic records from Jamaica, and discover a number of allergies, current medications, and medical conditions to inform a treatment plan. The athlete, requiring a surgical procedure and transferred to the host city’s tertiary hospital, is followed by the necessary diagnostic and treatment information via OHI interoperability.  Post surgery, the updated medical record is posted to the athlete’s Jamaican EMR system for follow-up medical treatment at home.

As a way to build an Olympic digital health ecosystem that includes all stakeholders willing to specify, prototype and deploy digital health technology, the OHI Foundation has been created as a not-for-profit, charitable organization.  The Foundation itself has no restriction on membership, and welcomes the participation and support of the global digital health community, namely vendors, healthcare providers, industry and standards organizations.

National Assemblies of Vietnam, Laos further cooepration

National Assembly (NA) Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong has called for further cooperation between Vietnamese and Lao National Assemblies.
