Italian bridge collapse: No report on Vietnamese citizen’s casualty

A major motorway bridge has collapsed in northern Italy, killing dozens of people and severing a major highway.

The Vietnamese embassy in Italy immediately contacted Italian agencies and confirmed that there has been no report that Vietnamese citizens were killed or injured in the collapse.

A 200-metre section of the Morandi bridge on the A10 motorway came down in an industrial area of the port city of Genoa on Tuesday. About 20 cars and trucks were on the section that fell 45 meters onto railway tracks and buildings below.
