Kremlin voices regret over EU’s extended sanctions

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday that Russia regrets a decision by EU leaders to extend economic sanctions on Moscow, which is not beneficial to both sides.

He said despite the setback, Russia still sets on improving relations with the EU.

EU leaders agreed on Thursday to prolong for another six months the bloc’s economic sanctions on Russia, imposed over the annexation of Crimea.
