Lao PM arrives in Vietnam for meeting of inter-governmental committee

Hanoi (VNA) � Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith is leading a high-ranking delegation of the Lao Government to attend and co-chair the 41st meeting of the Vietnam-Laos Inter-Governmental Committee in Hanoi from January 5 to 6.

The Lao PM’s participation in the event reiterates the two countries’ consistent foreign priority of developing the traditional friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation.

The meeting will also help enhance the mutual political trust and create a consistent channel for directing the implementation of high-level agreements to strengthen bilateral ties in the time ahead. �VNA
