NA Standing Committee discusses bill on animal husbandry

The National Assembly Standing Committee today continued to discuss a bill concerning animal husbandry, including regulations on closed production chains, such as animal feed, farm conditions, and waste treatment under Vietnam’s conditions and requirements of international integration.

National Assembly Vice Chairman Phung Quoc Hien said: It’s necessary to have strict regulations on waste from animal husbandry, including waste from dead animals and animal slaughter, which causes environmental pollution. Regulations and laws relating to the bill should be reviewed to ensure specification and feasibility.

In the afternoon, the deputies debated the revised Law on Corruption Prevention and Control.
