PM says fine-tuning laws should be a key task

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said that fine-tuning laws, administrative reforms, and improving the business environment are the government’s top priorities this year.

At the government’s monthly meeting on Thursday, Mr. Phuc said it’s essential to stabilize the macro-economy and control inflation.

The Prime Minister asked cabinet members, ministries, and sectors to be ready for domestic and global changes and advance the renewal drive.

The Prime Minister called for accelerating projects and dealing with organizations that are behind schedule, and asked for prompt amendments to the Law on Public Investment. Mr. Phuc also asked ministries and sectors to take steps to boost exports and market promotion.
