Postage stamp marks 50 years of 1968 General Offensive and Uprising

The Vietnam Post launched a special postage stamp on Friday to commemorate the 50th anniversary of 1968 Spring General Offensive and Uprising.

The stamp features monuments honoring soldiers and people in the South of Vietnam who bravely fought in the campaign. The monuments were designed with the image of birds and the typical bandanna of Southern people, representing peace and national reunification.

The stamp was designed by painter Tran The Vinh and will be widely used by the post network until the end of next year.
