“Pupe” arrested for hiring someone to open a mule account before posting to trick people into buying concert tickets

Metropolitan Police Bureau arrests ‘Pupe’ for hiring someone to open a mule account for her, which she then posts to trick people into buying concert tickets for famous artists. During the arrest, the suspect confessed to all charges.

Police arrested Ms. Kamonchanok or Pupae, 23 years old, a suspect under an arrest warrant from the Thanyaburi Provincial Court No. 690/2567 dated August 30, 2567, on charges of ‘jointly defrauding the public by fraud or deception, by entering distorted or forged computer data, whether in whole or in part, or false computer data into a computer system in a manner likely to cause damage to the public, or being a person who opens or allows others to use her electronic card deposit account or electronic money account without intending to use it for herself or her business, or allowing others to use or borrow her mobile phone number for service, in a manner that she knows or should know will be used to commit a crime related to technology crimes or other criminal offenses.’

ehavior was around the year 2022 (the accused) had deceived people by hiring people to press concert tickets through Facebook, which had many victims, transferring tens of thousands of baht in total, but then disappeared. Later in 2023, seeing that it was easy to do and earn money, he created a page X Twitter to look believable, with reviews of hiring people to press concert tickets, which had many victims believing it, being deceived into transferring money to him, claiming that he could press concert tickets, with a total transfer of over a hundred thousand baht. Finally, he disappeared, deleting the page, and deceiving people into selling things online, and many other things.

Later, when he found out that he was blacklisted, he hired someone to open a bank account for him by finding a broker on his Facebook page. He could specify the age and gender of the person he wanted, and the broker would find them for him. However, sometimes he would take him to open the account himself, which he admitted to. When a
sked, the suspect also stated that he had deleted the banking app that the person he hired to open the account for had deposited money in around August because the account he hired someone else to open was also blacklisted. During the arrest, the suspect confessed to all charges. From checking the blacklistseller website, it was also found that there were notifications from several victims, so an arrest record was made and the suspect was sent to the investigation officer at Khlong Luang Police Station, Pathum Thani Province, for further legal proceedings.
