Russia, Egypt pay tribute to A321 crash victims

Activities were held in Russia and Egypt on Monday to mark the first anniversary of the crash of Russian flight A321 in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula, killing 224 passengers on board.

A music concert called “Tributes to the victims” was performed in St. Petersburg. Artists from the Mariin Theater will perform a similar concert on Saturday on Sinai Peninsula.

The same day, Egyptian authorities held a candle parade at Sharm el-Sheikh resort, gathering hundreds of people at the Peace Square to pray for the crash victims.
