SET accepts registration of 5 new DRs referencing European stocks, trading starts on 9 Oct 2024

Bangkok, 8 Oct - The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has accepted the registration of 5 new DRs referencing European stocks: 'FERRARI80,' 'HERMES80,' 'LOREAL80,' 'NOVOB80,' and 'SANOFI80,' issued by Krung Thai Bank, starting trading on 9 Oct. The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has accepted the registration of 5 new depositary receipts (DRs) referencing European stocks listed on major European stock exchanges, namely: 'FERRARI80' refers to the stock Ferrari NV, an Italian automobile manufacturer known for producing high-performance cars. 'HERMES80' refers to Hermes International SCA, a French fashion and luxury goods company, including bags, jewelry, watches, clothing and cosmetics. 'LOREAL80' refers to the stock L'Oreal SA, a global manufacturer and distributor of cosmetics, skincare and haircare products. 'NOVOB80' refers to the stock Novo Nordisk A/S, a Danish pharmaceutical company specializing in the development and production of diabetes drugs. It is renowned for its medical research and innovat ion, making it one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies. 'SANOFI80' refers to Sanofi SA, a French pharmaceutical company with expertise in research, development and distribution of medicines, especially vaccines, making it one of the world's leading manufacturers and distributors of medicines. The DR will start trading on the Stock Exchange of Thailand on October 9, 2024 onwards. DR is an instrument that gives investors the opportunity to receive benefits similar to owning foreign securities. Investors can buy and sell through securities trading accounts in Thai baht.
