SME Bank supports franchise business

BAAC supports franchise businesses, helping new entrepreneurs access credit through the 'Rich Path Expo' event. Mr. Kittipong Buranasiri, Deputy General Manager, Strategy and Product Department, Small Industry Credit Guarantee Corporation (TCG), attended the 16th 'Franchise Wealth Expo', which gathered the best businesses and franchises worth investing in, with Mr. Mongkol Leelatham, former Chairman of the Executive Board of the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP), presiding over the opening ceremony on September 3, 2024, on the 1st floor of Central Westgate. In this event, the SME Bank organized under the concept of 'SME Bank, a partner in trendy business' to support 2 famous SME franchise customers to set up booths to expand their businesses, namely, Mr. Big Phuimat, owner of 'Siam Crispy Rice', crispy riceberry, a new alternative snack for health-conscious people, and Mr. Chawapot Chuhiran, owner of 'Hianop Moo Num', frozen fresh milk pork skewers and processed pork products, along with special promotions only available at this event! In addition, the SME Bank also invited two franchise operators, 'Hian P Moo Num' and 'Khao Krob Siam', to join a business seminar under the topic 'Trendy Business Partners', along with a team from the SME Financial Advisory Center, Metropolitan District Office, SME Bank, to provide knowledge on franchise business investment and access to credit on September 3rd from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. For those interested in investing in franchise businesses, the SME Bank currently has a PGS 11 loan guarantee project, 'SME Bank Sustainable', in collaboration with 18 financial institutions, to help increase capital and liquidity, allowing entrepreneurs to access credit more easily through the SME Bank's loan guarantee mechanism. For new entrepreneurs who have been in business for no more than 3 years, the SME Bank can guarantee through the Smart Gen project, guaranteeing up to 500,000 baht per person, with a fee of 1.75% per year. Special: No fee for the first 2 years.
