South Korean President leaves for US

South Korean President Moon Jae-in has left for Washington on an apparent mission to help broker a nuclear deal between the United States and North Korea ahead of their first-ever summit next month.

The President will meet with US counterpart Donald Trump on Tuesday. The upcoming meeting is expected to play the role of a bridge that will lead to the success of the North Korea-US talks. Moon and Trump will likely discuss ways to guarantee a bright future for the North after it achieves complete denuclearization.
