Vietnamese Ambassador visits US Air Force Academy

Vietnamese Ambassador to the US Pham Quang Vinh paid an official visit to the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs last week.

Vice Superintendent of the Academy Colonel David Harris hailed the US-Vietnam comprehensive partnership, particularly in security and defence cooperation. Col. Harris reviewed Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc’s visit to the US last May and US President Donald Trump’s visit to Vietnam last November.

Ambassador Vinh briefed the meeting on recent progress in Vietnam-US ties and Vietnam’s reform achievements. He said he hopes the two countries will strengthen their ties within the framework of comprehensive partnership, particularly in training, capacity building, security, and defence.
