Vietnamese female professor honoured with Ramon Magsaysay Award

Prof., Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Phuong, non-permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, has been honoured with the Ramon Magsaysay Award, considered the ‘Nobel of Asia’. Born in 1944, Phuong is currently President of the Ho Chi Minh City Society for Reproductive Medicine (HOSREM), Vice-President of the Vietnam Association for Gynaecology and Obstetrics (VAGO), and Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin.
