Warning to people living along the river in Mueang Chiang Rai District to move belongings to higher ground.

Heavy rains and flash floods caused the Mae Kham River Bridge in Village 13, Mae Fah Luang Subdistrict, Mae Fah Luang District, Chiang Rai Province to break. Officials have warned people living near the river to move their belongings to higher ground because the water level is starting to rise. Meanwhile, in Mae Sot District, Tak Province, a huge mass of flash floods overflowed the banks on both sides of the Mae Sai River, more than 2 meters high.

Due to heavy rain and flash floods, the Mae Kham River Bridge in Ban Samakkhi Mai, Village No. 13, Mae Fah Luang Subdistrict, Mae Fah Luang District, Chiang Rai Province, has been broken. All types of vehicles are currently unable to pass through. In Mueang District, Chiang Rai Province, people living near the river have been warned to move their belongings to higher ground because the water level is rising, causing traffic congestion.

As rescuers from the Ruamkatanyu Foundation immediately entered the area to help villagers in Village 4, Rim Kok Subdistrict, Mu
eang District, Chiang Rai Province, it can be seen that the water began to flow very quickly. In Tham Luang-Khun Nam Nang Non National Park, the water level continued to rise.

In Fang District, water has flooded many areas, starting from the front of Rangsit Wittaya School and surrounding areas. Therefore, we are informing the public to avoid using this route.

The Mae Sot River overflowed and flooded houses and markets along the Mae Sot River in Tak Province, on

the border of Mae Sot District, Tak Province, in the early hours of today. A huge mass of forest water overflowed the banks on both sides of the Mae Sot River. The water level was more than 2 meters high, flooding the entire Myawaddy Province, Myanmar, and Mae Sot District, Tak Province, all at once, causing panic among villagers along the Mae Sot River who had to rush out to move their belongings to escape the chaotic floodwaters.

At Rim Maei Market, a low-lying area along the bank of the Maei River and next to the First Thai-Myanmar Friendship B
ridge, a mass of water flooded the Rim Maei Market. The water level was 1 meter high. Vendors were shocked and rushed to move a large amount of goods out of their shops. This was the second flood in a month, and the mass of water was still spreading widely. Authorities sent teams to monitor the water level along the banks of the Maei River 24 hours a day.
