A young man riding a motorcycle stabbed his opponent, causing injuries, just because he looked at him.

Surat Thani youths aged between 12 and 15 years old committed an audacious act by riding a motorcycle and stabbing an opponent, causing injuries, even though they did not know each other before. The reason was that they were just driving past and looking at each other.

Police and rescue workers inspected the clock tower and Naris Bridge in Surat Thani Municipality after receiving a report of a group of teenagers fighting and attacking each other late last night. Before the incident, a group of three teenagers, aged 14-16, rode their motorcycles and parked at the clock tower. Then another group of teenagers, aged 12-15, approximately 7-8 people, rode tricycles and motorcycles, followed them. When they arrived, they immediately attacked the first group. The attackers lasted about 2-3 minutes before riding their motorcycles away. Of the teenagers who were attacked, one was stabbed in the torso with a sharp object once, and the other two suffered minor injuries.

The injured teenagers said that they rode their
motorcycles from Surat Thani-Phunphin Road. When they passed the Tha Koob Bridge, they saw the group of perpetrators park their motorcycles on the bridge. They turned to look and the group of perpetrators chased them. When they reached the clock tower, they parked their motorcycles and the group of perpetrators immediately attacked them. They insisted that they had never met before.

After the incident, the three injured teenagers went to file a complaint with the investigation officer at Surat Thani City Police Station as evidence. From the initial investigation, it was found that the perpetrators were teenagers living in the Surat Thani bus station area. The authorities will track them down for questioning to proceed with legal action.
