Cabinet warns against fraudsters tricking people into giving information during money transfers for the disabled

Mr. Jirayu Huangsap, advisor to the Prime Minister, announced the results of the cabinet meeting that the cabinet meeting was concerned about the 14.5 million vulnerable groups during the preparation period for the transfer of 10,000 baht per person next week, between September 25-30, 2024. He emphasized that the government already has information about the group of people and is just waiting for the money transfer process through the usual channels that have been received, both for welfare cardholders and the disabled. Therefore, do not believe the fraudulent groups who call to ask if some information is missing or if they will help facilitate the transfer of the said information. Also, do not be fooled into clicking on any online information links because you may be deceived.

Mr. Jirayu added that the Cabinet meeting agreed to maintain the 7% VAT rate as it is every year because the economy has not improved, so the VAT collection period has been extended to the usual rate.
