“Lawyer Tum” brings evidence to prosecute 6 executives of a famous direct selling company.

Lawyer Tum’ brings evidence to file a complaint against 6 executives of a famous direct sales company for defrauding the public, while the public who have lost money from their investments have continuously come to file complaints.

Today (October 11), Attorney Sittra Biabangkerd, or Attorney Tum, along with Mr. Thanakun Jit-Issara, a member of the Democrat Party, submitted evidence to file a complaint with the investigation officers of the Consumer Protection Police Division (CPPD) to prosecute a group of executives or bosses of a large direct sales company that is currently in the news, a total of 6 people, for the offense of defrauding the public, the offense under the Emergency Decree on Fraudulent Loans to the Public, the Computer Act, and the Anti-Money Laundering Act. The latest report shows that more than 700 victims have contacted the police.

Lawyer Sittra said that the company’s behavior did not deliver the products to the real investors. Some invested 250,000 baht, but when they requested to with
draw the products, they claimed that they were out of stock or had sent expired products. They also emphasized that they had to find people to sign up for the course and become their affiliates instead in order to receive a share of 10,000 baht from the investment. They claimed that they sold 1 million tubes of serum. He challenged that if there were any consumers who bought the products, used them, and then bought them again, they could contact him because from what he asked, no one had seen or known about this product on the market. Therefore, this behavior is clearly a pyramid scheme.

As for the celebrity bosses, they claim that they have no part in the management and are only presenters, and some claim that they have to accept the executive position because of consideration. They cannot deny their responsibility because all the victims confirmed in one voice that they were fooled into investing because they believed in these celebrities. It is even more believable when there are bosses who claim to be ‘d
octors’ included. Lawyer Sittra also clearly emphasized that ‘in this case, there will definitely be at least 4 bosses in jail.’

In addition, Yi Thanakun also confirmed that the female boss, whose initials are P., who planned this system, had arranged a meeting with the group of celebrity bosses to have the celebrity bosses follow the system. Therefore, it is impossible for the celebrity bosses to claim that they were unaware of the sales process. The celebrity bosses are divided into 4 main groups: executive-level celebrity bosses who will receive no less than 10% of all profits and will also receive various assets such as cars and luxury watches, even though some of the bosses’ assets that they show are worth more than 150 million baht, which is not consistent with their occupations. Some of the bosses also found financial trails connecting them to close individuals to avoid being seen as benefiting from this company.

The second group is the celebrity presenter group who are hired to attend events and do
various activities. The third group is celebrities and influencers who occasionally post or share the company’s products. The final group is the famous people who invest and use their credibility to do activities, hoping to get benefits in return. This group is also one of the victims.

For the atmosphere at the center for reporting cases of fraudulent investors on the 2nd floor of the Pitak Santirat Building this morning, it was found that people who were damaged by investing with The Icon Company have been continuously coming to file reports. Each person will bring evidence of their investment to use as evidence in the legal case, most of whom are investors at the dealer level, requiring an investment of up to 250,000 baht. Some have invested up to 4 times, spending more than 1 million baht, but receiving only 40,000 baht in return.
