MCOT joins hands with Thailand Post and Nida Poll to announce the Thailand Top Vote 2024 awards.

MCOT Public Company Limited joins hands with Thailand Post and Nida Poll to organize the announcement of the 'Thailand Top Vote 2024' awards for the best individuals and organizations of the year in 6 categories, using Thailand Post's first digital voting system. Mr. Phatiyuth Jaisawang, Acting Director-General of MCOT Public Company Limited, said that the 'Thailand Top Vote 2024' award ceremony was a collaboration between MCOT, Thailand Post Company Limited, and the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) to conduct a survey of Thais nationwide and all ages to find the best individuals and organizations of the year in 6 categories: Best Entertainer of the Year, Best Influencer of the Year, Best Athlete of the Year, Best Thai Brand of the Year, Best Tourist Attraction of the Year, and Best Government Agency of the Year, including the Honorary Executive of the Year award on January 22, 2025. This was because MCOT saw that Thailand is excellent in many aspects. Therefore, we should honor indiv iduals or organizations that are outstanding in various aspects to encourage them to continue creating good things for the country. Collaborating with two organizations with recognized standards to collect votes from Thais ensures that every vote received comes from the voices of Thais nationwide, which will create even more value for those who receive these awards. Dr. Trin Twitaranon, Chief Executive Officer, Digital Service Business, Thailand Post, said that this collaboration is because Thailand Post wants to change its traditional services to be more in line with the digital era. In the past, we sent lucky draws and various votes, but now we have a system called Prompt Post for digital voting instead of voting via postcards in the past. MCOT is the first organization to use this voting system, which will be more convenient because votes can be sent simultaneously at the same time. You can check your voting history, and those who log in to this system will have their own document box or digital box with a capacity of 1 GB, increasing the convenience of sending and receiving electronic documents for the public. Asst. Prof. Dr. Suwicha Paoa-aree, Director of the Nida Poll, said that Nida Poll will take the names of the people who have passed the Top 4-5 votes in each category from MCOT, and Nida will conduct a survey with a sample group of people of all ages and provinces, both Bangkok and the regions throughout the country. The results of this poll will be used as part of the score in the decision together with the committee Source: Thai News Agency
