MEA ready to send staff to help replace electrical equipment in flooded areas

MEA joins in sending encouragement to the flood situation, donating relief bags, electrical leakage detection equipment in water to flood victims in Chiang Rai Province, and preparing to send staff to help change electrical equipment in flooded areas.

Mr. Vilas Chalaysat, Governor of MEA or Metropolitan Electricity Authority, revealed that MEA joins in sending encouragement to the flood situation and donates 500,000 baht to help flood victims in Chiang Rai Province, 500 relief bags, and water leakage detection devices to the Mirror Foundation to be distributed to help flood victims in Chiang Rai Province.

MEA cares about the people, prepares to mobilize staff to quickly go to the area after the water recedes for safety, builds confidence by checking the electrical system and changing electrical equipment for people in many flooded areas, and provides electrical leakage detection equipment to staff and agencies to help people for safety, along with preparing relief supplies and integrating cooperation from
the government, private, civil society, and volunteers to mobilize all forces to help people affected by the disaster immediately.

MEA is ready to provide assistance with electrical systems, such as moving electrical plugs and electrical meters in the areas of Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Samut Prakan.
