Mekong Delta region enjoys growing crop production

The Mekong Delta region’s cultivation sector has maintained good growth with increased production of major products, ensuring supply for domestic market and export.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), the region’s total rice farming area in 2024 is estimated at 3.82 million hectares with an output of 24.14 million tonnes, up 11,130 tonnes compared to 2023.
