Nearly 1.1 trillion VND raised for Yagi-hit victims

Individuals and collectives at home and abroad have donated nearly 1.1 trillion VND (44.4 million USD) to the Central Relief Committee under the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) to support people hit by Typhoon Yagi as of 5pm on September 15.

The Central Relief Committee said that on September 12-13, it conducted first-phase allocation to 20 localities hit by the storm, and the second allocation will be implemented on September 16 basing on the level of damage of localities.
