Police and the government are taking strict measures after a gang of Myanmar teenagers became arrogant, stole a school helmet and attacked their Thai enemies.

In the case of more than 10 Myanmar teenagers who formed a gang to slap helmets and chase their Thai rivals in the area of ??Ban Huai Takhian, Bang Saphan District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, after the incident they went to ‘hashtag’ on social media, challenging the government’s authority, threatening the villagers with something like ‘I will come back and do the same thing again’, which created fear among the villagers.

The latest is that the Prachuap Khiri Khan investigation unit, together with the local administration, have deployed forces to inspect the area of ??Village 12, Chaikasem Subdistrict and nearby areas, including setting up checkpoints to search for illegal items in order to build confidence among the public.

While the relevant agencies invited the villagers to join the meeting to provide knowledge and understanding when the inciden
t occurred and asked for cooperation if they found or suspected that the Myanmar workers were working legally or not, please inform the leaders of each village who will bring the relevant agencies to inspect. Also, some employers, if found to be violating the law by providing shelter to workers illegally, may be prosecuted according to the law.

The village head recently brought villagers who were threatened by a group of Burmese teenagers to file a complaint at Thung Chai Police Station to provide additional information to the police.
