The Election Commission’s resolution to elect a new president of Pathum Thani Provincial Administrative Organization within 30 days.

EC resolution orders a new election for the president of Pathum Thani Provincial Administrative Organization within 30 days after giving a yellow card to "Chan Phuangphet" Reporters reported that in the EC meeting today, there was an order to hold a new election for the president of the Pathum Thani Provincial Administrative Organization within 30 days and to announce a shortening of the period and to refrain from carrying out any actions related to the election in the event that the EC orders a new election. Mr. Saeng Boonmee, Secretary-General of the Election Commission, said that from the case yesterday (August 27), the Election Commission meeting resolved to order a new election for the President of Pathum Thani Provincial Administrative Organization. Today, the Election Commission meeting resolved to approve the order to hold a new election for the President of Pathum Thani Provincial Administrative Organization within 30 days from the date the Election Commission issued the order to hold a new electi on. It also approved the announcement to shorten the period and refrain from certain election-related actions, such as shortening the period for appointing the election unit committee and security officers at the election station, submitting the request to appoint candidate representatives, refraining from making announcements specifying the polling station, polling place and announcement, shortening the period for notifying the list of eligible voters to the head of the household, and shortening the period for adding or removing names of eligible voters. This is in order to be in time for the new election, which must be held within 30 days. The determination of a new election date will be the duty and authority of the election director of the local government organization, with the approval of the provincial election director. When asked about the banqueting allegations that led to Mr. Chan Phuangphet receiving a yellow card, Mr. Sa-wang explained that the principle of the yellow card is when the EC finds evidence that is likely to lead to unfair and dishonest elections, in which the candidate benefits, but the offense of the action does not reach the candidate. The EC therefore issues a yellow card or orders a new election. If the yellow card is issued before the announcement of the results, the same group of candidates will be used to run in the election.
