The Office of the Higher Education Commission (OHEC) has ordered the establishment of a committee to investigate news that the director was sleeping and receiving a salary at home.

The Department of Non-Formal Education (DNF) has ordered a committee to investigate the news that the Director of Non-Formal Education in Surin Province sleeps at home and receives a salary, only coming to work during important meetings, to see if there is any basis.

From the case of the Watchdog Dog Operation page on September 18, 2024, which published a message and pictures with the headline, Director of Non-Formal Education Center sleeps and receives salary at home, does not work, works at will, along with stating that the person mentioned is the Director of a district-level learning promotion center in Surin Province.

The latest is that Mr. Thanakorn Donnuea, Director-General of the Department of Learning Promotion, revealed that he has already received initial information and is not indifferent to the incident. He has ordered the establishment of a fact-finding committee and has urged the fact-finding committee to prepare a fact-finding report and submit a report immediately on whether or not the evid
ence is true. He has also ordered the commanding officers of the accused to report the progress to him. If any wrongdoing is found, disciplinary punishment will be imposed. However, justice must be given to all parties. The consideration must be correct, rapid, and fair.
