Urgent search for another pitbull in Sattahip area

Panic! Three pit bulls escaped and started biting people and pets in Sattahip, Chonburi. Officers chased and shot them with tranquilizers. One escaped into the forest.

Last night, the Klet Kaew Subdistrict Municipality page posted a warning message about pitbulls, stating that they had been notified by residents that there were pitbulls in the Thewi Park Village area, Village 9. If any residents have lost their dogs, please look in the area. Residents who are traveling are also asked to be careful. Yesterday afternoon, several pitbulls appeared in the area of ??Village 9, Bang Saray Subdistrict, Sattahip District. They were aggressive and had no owner, chasing and attacking residents and their pets. Officials went to the area and announced over the loudspeaker for residents to be careful, but as of midnight they had not been able to catch them.

This morning, Mr. Yotsawat Phuwaratlertkun, Mayor of Klet Kaew Subdistrict Municipality, led officers from the Department of Public Health and Environment, Disaster
Prevention and Mitigation, Klet Kaew Subdistrict Municipality to inspect the area and found 3 pitbulls. They coordinated with the Sattahip District Livestock Office and Sattahip District Office, along with the administrative team, to tranquilize the 3 pitbulls, all female, approximately 2-3 years old, so that they would not be dangerous to the public and passersby. Two were tranquilized, while the other one ran away into the forest in Village 9. They are currently under surveillance and will be tracked down and tranquilized to capture them as soon as possible. Initially, no one has come forward to claim ownership of the 3 pitbulls. The 2 that were captured are now being put in cages and their owners are being contacted. If no one has come forward, they will be sent to a local stray dog ??shelter.
