The session is set to extend into the afternoon with a proposal on augmenting the session's agenda, followed by the adoption of the revised programme.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the assembly members will engage in debates concerning essential financial and investment frameworks. These discussions will cover the medium-term public investment plan for 2026-2030, the national five-year financial plan, the public debt management strategy for the same timeframe, and the final settlement of the 2024 state budget. As the day progresses, legislators will review a report and a verification report focusing on the proposed amendments and supplements to four key tax laws: the Law on Personal Income Tax, the Law on Value-Added Tax, the Law on Corporate Income Tax, and the Law on Special Consumption Tax.
