Hanoi: A national-level ceremony was held at the Dien Hong Hall of the National Assembly House in Hanoi to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's first general election, which was instrumental in electing deputies to the National Assembly. The event witnessed the presence of Party General Secretary To Lam, along with current and former Party and State leaders.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the ceremony was marked with significant tributes as Party and State leaders, together with representatives from different generations of National Assembly deputies, paid homage to President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum. They also laid wreaths and offered incense in honor of fallen heroes and martyrs at the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs located on Bac Son street in Hanoi.
