Hanoi: The Hanoi Department of Public Security organised a parade around Hoan Kiem Lake on August 10 in celebration of the ‘Festival for a Peaceful Capital” to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People’s Public Security Forces Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of All People’s Day for National Security Protection. The event is also part of the preparation for personnel deployment to ensure security and public order for activities marking the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945-2025) and National Day (September 2, 1945-2025).
According to Vietnam News Agency, the parade was a significant event aimed at enhancing public awareness and engagement in national security efforts. It showcased the commitment of the People’s Public Security Forces to maintaining peace and order in the capital and highlighted the historical significance of the upcoming anniversaries. The involvement of various security units demonstrated the collaborative effort required to uphold the security and safety of citizens during these commemorative events.
