Hai phong: AirAsia has launched a new direct flight route connecting Vietnam’s northern port city of Hai Phong with Thailand’s capital, Bangkok. This new service commenced on July 16 and offers four weekly flights every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. The inaugural flight was marked by welcoming activities at Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok and Cat Bi International Airport in Hai Phong.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Thai AirAsia now operates the highest number of direct flights from Bangkok to various Vietnamese destinations. These include extensive services to Hanoi with up to 21 flights per week, Ho Chi Minh City with 25 flights, Da Nang with 21 flights, Nha Trang and Phu Quoc each with 7 flights, and the newly established route to Hai Phong with 4 flights per week. Additionally, Thai AirAsia connects Chiang Mai to Hanoi with 7 flights weekly, further enhancing travel options between Thailand and Vietnam.
