‘Anutin’ without drama, proposes appointing ‘Arsit’ as the new Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior

Government House, "Anutin" reveals that the Cabinet has proposed appointing "Arsit Sampantharat" as the new Permanent Secretary of the Interior Ministry, confirming that he is suitable and without any drama, denying that it was a result of playing golf at Khao Yai, saying that the Interior Minister, the Director-General, and the Permanent Secretary go everywhere like a boy band, and insisting that Bhumjaithai Party does not have locals in the ministry. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul spoke about the appointment of Director-General of the Department of Provincial Administration, Arsit Sampantharat, to the position of Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, saying that this matter would be brought to the Cabinet meeting today. He confirmed that the Ministry of Interior has rules and regulations, and that he has never had any drama since working there. For him, the word drama is a soap opera. We live in reality. As for the analysis that it was a result of the golf t rip to Khao Yai, Mr. Anutin explained that the Director-General of the Department of Provincial Administration, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, and the Minister of Interior, when they go anywhere, they are like a boy band, going everywhere together, and currently they have a lot of duties. The reason for appointing Mr. Arsit as the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior is because it is appropriate. We have been working together for almost a year. If we did not appoint him, it would be strange. We work together, understand each other, and respect each other. Both parties are quick and punctual. We go everywhere together. As for the part where some people see it as placing Bhumjaithai Party's locals in the ministry, Mr. Anutin asked back, where does Bhumjaithai Party have locals? He himself graduated in engineering, not political science. There aren't any. Work is the main thing. No matter how close you are, if the work doesn't come out and you can't respond, you can't set up th e ministry. As for the remaining years of service, will this allow for continuous and efficient work? Mr. Anutin believes that once the appointment is complete, the appointee will perform his duty. As for the appointed person, whether he will survive safely or not depends on his performance and performance of duty to gain trust because I will go first for sure. Therefore, he must perform his duty well. Source: Thai News Agency
