Hanoi:The ASEAN Confederation of Women's Organisations (ACWO) held its 2026 Board of Directors Meeting in Hanoi on November 4. The event was hosted by the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU), which is serving as ACWO President for the 2025-2026 term.

According to Vietnam News Agency, this meeting represented a significant diplomatic initiative designed to bolster cooperation and unity among ASEAN women's organisations. Furthermore, it aimed to elevate the role and international stature of the VWU and Vietnamese women within the realm of people-to-people diplomacy.
