Austria Ready to Cooperate with Vietnam in Strengthening UN Peacekeeping Capacity

Vienna: Vietnamese Ambassador to Austria Vu Le Thai Hoang recently held a working session with Tobias Lang, Director of the Austrian Centre for Peace (ACP). The meeting, which took place in Vienna, aimed to enhance cooperation between Vietnam and Austria in the areas of training and capacity-building for personnel involved in United Nations Peacekeeping missions.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the discussions focused on strategies to bolster the skills and preparedness of individuals participating in peacekeeping efforts under the United Nations. This collaboration seeks to leverage the expertise and resources of both countries to address global peacekeeping challenges effectively.

The initiative reflects a shared commitment by Austria and Vietnam to contribute to international peace and stability. By working together, both nations aim to improve the efficiency and impact of peacekeeping operations worldwide.
