Bilingual Book, Exhibition Honour Ho Chi Minh’s Legacy

Hanoi: A Vietnamese-Russian bilingual book titled 'Nguyen Ai Quoc - Ho Chi Minh and Russia' was launched in Hanoi on June 1 alongside a photo exhibition featuring 115 images of President Ho Chi Minh's activities at the Presidential Palace. The events, organised by the Ho Chi Minh Presidential Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, are part of activities marking the 115th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's departure to seek a path for national salvation (June 5, 1911-2026) and towards the centenary of the publication of Duong Kach Menh (1927-2027).

According to Vietnam News Agency, the bilingual book and photo exhibition aim to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh's contributions and his significant ties with Russia. The book provides insights into his relationship with Russia and its influence on his pursuit of national liberation. The photo exhibition complements the book by showcasing images that capture pivotal moments and activities of Ho Chi Minh during his time at the Presidential Palace.

The events reflect a broader effort to educate the public and honour the legacy of President Ho Chi Minh. The exhibition and book are expected to draw attention from both local and international audiences, offering them a comprehensive view of Ho Chi Minh's historical journey and ideological developments. The organisers hope these initiatives will foster a deeper understanding of the historical ties between Vietnam and Russia and highlight Ho Chi Minh's enduring influence on Vietnam's national identity.
