Border Localities of Vietnam, China Step Up Substantive Cooperation

Nanning: A meeting in early Spring between the Secretaries of the Party Committees of Vietnam's Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang and Hai Phong and the Secretary of the Party Committee of China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region took place on February 11 in Nanning, Guangxi, China.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting was aimed at enhancing cooperation between the bordering localities of Vietnam and China. Discussions focused on strengthening economic ties, improving cross-border trade, and fostering cultural exchange between the regions. The parties involved expressed their commitment to furthering substantive cooperation and addressing shared challenges.

The meeting underscored the importance of regional collaboration in promoting mutual interests and development. Both sides agreed to continue dialogue and explore opportunities for joint initiatives that benefit their respective localities.
