Phnom penh: CNC Television, a private Cambodian broadcaster owned by CBS under Royal Group, has initiated a series of in-depth commentary programs focusing on Vietnam’s current affairs. The 15-minute talk shows, spearheaded by journalist Khieu Kola – a producer, presenter, and senior editor at CNC, frequently utilize reports from the Vietnam News Agency (VNA).

According to Vietnam News Agency, Khieu Kola, who also serves as Assistant to the President of the Cambodian Club of Journalists (CCJ), discussed with VNA’s reporters the network’s decision-making process regarding source selection. As CNC Television celebrated its 80th anniversary on September 15, Kola emphasized the broadcaster’s trust in VNA’s reporting, highlighting the agency’s role in providing reliable information amid a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
