Cham Bani and Muslim Communities Celebrate Ramuwan Festival in Khanh Hoa

Khanh hoa: The Cham Bani and Muslim ethnic communities in the central province of Khanh Hoa began Ramuwan, their biggest festival of the year, on February 16. The festival, celebrated from February 16 to March 19, features a series of rituals including grave visits, ancestral worship ceremonies, and a month-long fast at mosques.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the festival is an opportunity for Muslims to gather with their families, express reverence and gratitude to their ancestors and grandparents, and pray for happiness, bumper crops, and peace.
