Chiang Rai Public Health Ministry orders transfer of young doctor who physically assaulted female nurse

Nurses gathered to wear black to protest because they were dissatisfied with a young doctor who hit a young nurse in the back. The executives set up a disciplinary committee to investigate and called the media to make a statement on August 21. The Chiang Rai Ministry of Public Health ordered the transfer of the doctor.

The perpetrator was a young doctor who had just transferred from a government hospital in a nearby area and had been at the hospital for less than a year. On the day of the incident, the young doctor was giving orders to the young nurse, but it was not clear what the problem was that led to the physical assault.

This incident caused dissatisfaction among the group of nurses who found out about it. They went to complain to the hospital director and arranged to wear black to show their dissatisfaction with the young doctor’s actions.

th the hospital management, it was found that the hospital director had gone on a mission in another province. Only the deputy director, the head of the administration, and the head of the nurse who was assaulted came to provide initial information that the hospital was setting up a disciplinary investigation committee regarding the incident. Today, the relatives of the young nurse, who is registered in Tambon Pa Ngae, Amphoe Pa Daet, traveled to the hospital to file a complaint and provide information to the hospital management. The hospital has made an appointment for the media to come and listen to a press conference regarding the incident on August 21.

ncial Public Health Office has considered the incident in detail and sees fit for the doctor who appeared in the news to be transferred to help perform official duties at the Chiang Rai Provincial Public Health Office until the fact-finding process is complete or until there is an order to change it.
