Chinese Top Leader Hosts Welcome Ceremony for Vietnamese Counterpart in Beijing

Beijing: General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and President of China Xi Jinping and his spouse presided over a solemn welcome ceremony for General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and State President To Lam and his spouse Ngo Phuong Ly on April 15 morning at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. The ceremony was held according to the highest protocols reserved for heads of state.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the event underscored the importance of the relationship between China and Vietnam. The welcome ceremony was marked by the presence of officials from both nations, highlighting the diplomatic significance of the visit. The leaders of the two countries are expected to engage in discussions to strengthen bilateral ties and cooperation across various sectors.
