Hanoi: The 2026 Da Nang Innovation Startup Festival (SURF), the central coastal city's largest annual event of its kind, was held on August 18 and 19. With the theme 'A New Era of Growth - Pioneering Innovation', the event emphasized expanding international connectivity, promoting cross-border investment cooperation, and highlighting strategic technology sectors.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the festival focused on key areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, digital technology, blockchain, green technology, and digital transformation. These sectors were spotlighted to advance the region's innovative capabilities and to foster sustainable growth in line with global technological trends. The event served as a platform for stakeholders to exchange ideas, forge partnerships, and explore new opportunities in the rapidly evolving tech landscape.
