Da Nang: The central city of Da Nang officially inaugurated its newly-built Software Park No 2, which is set to provide working space for 6,000 IT engineers and investors in semiconductor industries and microchip design. The park, whose construction began in 2020, spans an area of 28,573 square meters with a cost of 39 million USD. It is the fourth centralised information technology zone (CIZ) in Da Nang, positioning the tech industry as a key driving force for the city’s fast and sustainable growth.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the opening ceremony included the handover of Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) to strategic partners, including Marvell, FPT, and Sovico. These partnerships are expected to enhance collaboration in the technology sector, further advancing Da Nang’s ambition to become a leading hub for information technology and innovation in the region.
