Da Nang Successfully Completes Repairs on Disaster-Damaged Houses

Da nang: After one month of implementing the 'Quang Trung Campaign,' the central city of Da Nang has completed repairs of all houses damaged by natural disasters. Accordingly, all 361 damaged houses across the city have been repaired, an increase of 54 houses compared to earlier reports. Among them, 144 houses were completely destroyed by floods and required rebuilding. Construction has begun on all of these homes. To date, the building of 19 houses or 13% has been completed, while work on the remaining 125 houses is being accelerated and is expected to be completed ahead of schedule by January 31, 2026.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the 'Quang Trung Campaign' has been pivotal in ensuring that all the affected houses receive necessary repairs and rebuilding. Efforts have been significantly ramped up to ensure that the construction work on the homes progresses swiftly, with the aim of meeting the set deadlines. The campaign has seen the involvement of various local organizations and community members working collaboratively to restore the affected neighborhoods.

The completion of repairs marks a significant milestone for Da Nang's recovery efforts. It reflects the city's commitment to rebuilding and enhancing resilience against future natural disasters.
