Da nang: Located at the foot of Hai Van Pass in Hai Van Ward of the central city of Da Nang, Lien Chieu Port is set to become an international gateway port for the Central coastal region. The port, spanning 450 hectares including water space, is designed to achieve a capacity of approximately 50 million tons of cargo annually, featuring a container terminal system capable of accommodating vessels up to 18,000 TEU.

According to Vietnam News Agency, alongside Tien Sa and Chu Lai-Ky Ha Ports, and a series of seaports along the central coast, Lien Chieu Port is expected to enhance the development potential for the maritime economy, logistics, and international trade in the Central and Central Highlands regions.
