Dak Lak Company Sends First Roasted Coffee Container to United States.

Buon Ma Thuot: MISS EDE, a coffee brand under the Dak-Lak-based EDE Farm Trade Service LLC, celebrated a significant milestone with the shipment of its first container of roasted coffee to the United States. The ceremony took place in Buon Ma Thuot city, located in the Central Highlands province, marking an important step for the company in expanding its market reach internationally.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the 20-foot container includes 18,000 finished packs of roasted coffee. This export is notable as it represents a fully processed product that has been packaged in Vietnam, distinguishing it from raw materials or rebranded exports. The roasted coffee has been fermented to comply with the standards set by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), ensuring quality and safety for consumers in the US market.

The coffee beans used in this shipment were sourced from sustainable farming regions that are certified under the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). This certification underscores
the company’s commitment to sustainable agricultural practices, aligning with global efforts to combat deforestation and promote environmental conservation. The successful export to the US is expected to pave the way for future shipments, reinforcing Vietnam’s position in the global coffee market.
