Deputy PM Inspects Storm Preparedness in Hung Yen, Hai Phong

Hung yen: A Government delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha inspected storm preparedness measures in the northern province of Hung Yen on July 21. Also on the same day, Deputy PM Ha conducted an on-site inspection of Storm Wipha preparedness at Ngoc Hai fishing port in Do Son ward, the northern port city of Hai Phong.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the inspections were part of an effort to ensure that local authorities and residents are adequately prepared for the potential impacts of Storm Wipha. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of safety measures and effective coordination among various agencies to minimize the risks posed by the storm.

The visit included assessments of infrastructure, emergency response plans, and communication systems in place to deal with the storm’s effects. Local authorities were urged to remain vigilant and proactive in their approach to storm preparedness. The inspections highlighted the government’s commitment to safeguarding communities in vulnerable regions.
