Tokyo: Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long met with President of the House of Councilors of Japan Sekiguchi Masakazu, Speaker of the House of Representatives Nukaga Fukushiro, former Prime Minister Suga Yoshihide, Chief Cabinet Secretary Hayashi Yoshimasa, and Justice Minister Suzuki Keisuke, on September 10-11, as part of his working visit to Japan for Vietnam National Day at Osaka Expo 2025.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the meetings were aimed at strengthening diplomatic relations and discussing potential areas of cooperation between Vietnam and Japan. The Deputy Prime Minister’s visit underscores the importance of bilateral ties and mutual interests in various sectors, including trade, technology, and cultural exchange.
