Washington: Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Van Thang held working sessions with senior officials of the US Trade Representative (USTR) Office, US Department of State, US Department of Commerce, and US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) in Washington on August 27-28. The discussions aimed at deepening the Vietnam-US comprehensive strategic partnership and expanding cooperation in the areas of economy, trade, finance, and technology.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meetings focused on exploring ways to enhance bilateral relations and address mutual interests. The Deputy Prime Minister and US officials discussed strategies to boost economic collaboration and trade, ensuring a mutually beneficial partnership. The sessions also addressed potential financial cooperation and technology exchanges between the two nations, highlighting the importance of maintaining strong ties in these sectors.
