Hanoi: Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc highlighted the need for truly effective, proactive, and specific price management in 2025 while chairing a meeting of the Steering Committee for Price Management on February 6. Deputy PM Ho Duc Phoc stated that with the GDP growth target for 2025 set at a minimum of 8%, there will be a significant increase in the amount of money injected into the economy compared to 2024. This economic stimulus is expected to propel growth drivers, thereby affecting price indexes, particularly consumer prices.
According to Vietnam News Agency, Deputy PM Phoc emphasized that efficient price management will be crucial in maintaining economic stability and ensuring that consumer prices remain within manageable limits. The Steering Committee for Price Management is expected to play a pivotal role in strategizing and implementing measures to address potential challenges related to price fluctuations as the economy expands.
