Hanoi: All external affairs and diplomatic activities must serve the country’s goal of achieving at least 8% growth in gross domestic product (GDP) in 2025, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said at the diplomatic sector’s conference on January 6.
According to Vietnam News Agency, Prime Minister Chinh emphasized the crucial role of the diplomatic sector in bolstering Vietnam’s economic growth. He urged diplomats to actively engage in international cooperation and explore opportunities that could contribute to reaching the ambitious GDP target. The Prime Minister highlighted the need for strategic partnerships and enhanced trade relations as vital components in achieving this goal.
The conference gathered key representatives from the diplomatic sector to discuss strategies and initiatives that align with the national economic objectives. The focus was on identifying potential challenges and formulating solutions to overcome them, ensuring that Vietnam’s external relations effectively support economic development.
